PROBLEM:
When Universal Wolf approached us, they were facing a clear visibility issue. Inbound enquiries had slowed, and many of the leads coming through the site were the wrong fit. Although Universal Wolf has a strong reputation in the UK manufacturing industry, their website was not appearing where buyers were searching and was struggling to rank for terms that mattered.
Most of their organic traffic to their website came from people already searching for the Universal Wolf brand. This meant that their website was not reaching prospects who have a problem to solve but have not yet chosen a supplier. A severe technical issue was also preventing key service pages from being shown in Google and other search engines, further limiting the visibility in the moments that mattered.
There were also gaps in their website tracking and analytics data. Key performance and KPIs data were not being captured accurately or at all. Leaving the business without a reliable view of what was working, where enquiries were coming from, or which opportunities were being missed.
SOLUTION:
Our approach was clear, build a scalable SEO and analytics framework that would help Universal Wolf increase visibility, attract better qualified traffic and lay the foundations for long-term growth.
We began by aligning all SEO activity to Universal Wolf’s commercial goals and priority sectors. This included detailed keyword research, on-page optimisation and UK-wide targeting to ensure their website could be found by buyers actively searching for manufacturing solutions.
From here, we addressed the technical issues holding the site back. We fixed the severe error that was preventing key service pages from appearing in Google and other search engines. At the same time, we resolved the tracking and compliance issues by reinstalling Google Tag Manager, updating consent settings to help with data collection compliance, and building a clean analytics setup that captured accurate performance and conversion data.
To support ongoing growth, we also helped the Universal Wolf team develop an SEO-driven content strategy built around attracting new audiences, answering buyer intent and guiding prospects at the research stage. This would help our ambitious goal of making Universal Wolf the topical authority in their industry, and educate and convert the right customers over time, at every point in their customer journey.

Since implementing the new SEO, content and analytics strategy, Universal Wolf has seen a significant uplift across all key performance metrics.
Together, these gains show a clear turnaround in Universal Wolf’s digital performance. The business now attracts better qualified traffic, converts more effectively and has complete visibility over what is actually driving results.
