At ROAR, I am the Managing Director, I founded ROAR in 2016, and I am incredibly fortunate to work across all of our delivery channels, including SEO and PPC. My journey into digital marketing came from studying for a degree in the area, I then worked in a few small agencies before founding ROAR while also working directly for Google as a skills trainer. All of these past experiences have been fundamental in helping me shape the agency that ROAR has become.
Why digital marketing? Well, I’m one of the lucky ones, I work in a space that I find fascinating and one that allows me to learn more and more each day. I’ve realised that within digital marketing, the more you learn, the more you realise you’re still just scraping the surface.
If I were to describe my job in 3 words, it would be fascinating, fast-paced, and consuming.
I love being a part of ROAR because I’ve put everything into it, and I’m trying to build a team and culture that I would have loved to have been part of as an employee. At ROAR, we don’t compromise on doing things right, which is something that many other agencies claim to do. However, they will compromise on doing the right thing by sacrificing honesty, techniques and best practices.
It’s great running a business where everyone, internally and externally, knows who and what we are.
Some bits about me:
Hobbies – I enjoy taking my two young children to the beach and trying new restaurants with my wife. I also love football, American football, swimming, gym training, and (sadly) reading SEO and PPC articles.
When I was a child, I wanted to be a… Fighter pilot, and be Maverick’s wingman!
