Reports to: Head of SEO

Role Type: Full-time / Onsite

 

ROAR has an exciting opportunity to join the team.  As SEO Executive at ROAR you will play a crucial role in supporting and executing SEO strategies that enhance ours and our client’s online presence, engaging audiences and supporting our product initiatives.  We are looking for an individual who loves SEO and has the passion and confidence in their own abilities to be accountable for client performance.

 

Core Responsibilities:

To support the Head of SEO in developing and executing effective SEO strategies to drive organic traffic and improve website rankings.

 

  • Conduct keyword research to identify relevant and high-performing keywords for ROAR and client websites
  • Optimise website content for SEO, including landing pages, blog articles, product descriptions, and meta data for search engines and user engagement.
  • Conduct on-page and off-page optimisation, including: Meta data, Google Business profile optimisation, link management, to improve website visibility and authority.
  • Monitor website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics and Search Console, to track key metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Perform regular website audits to identify technical issues, improve site speed, and ensure proper indexing by search engines.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and search engine algorithm changes to adapt SEO strategies accordingly. 
  • Collaborate with the content team, client web developers, and designers to ensure SEO best practices are implemented throughout websites. 
  • Analyse competitors’ SEO strategies and identify opportunities to stay ahead in organic search rankings.
  • Implement tracking and Analytics for clients’ sites.
  • Run SEO audits for sales prospects’ websites.
  • Helping to onboard clients onto our DIY SEO Platform
  • Opportunity to write your own content to contribute to the ROAR blog.
  • Supporting team at events, networking, and site visits as required.

 

What you will bring to the role:

  • Minimum 1 year + working experience in digital marketing and SEO
  • Experience in an agency would be advantageous but not essential
  • Working knowledge of WordPress, SEMrush or similar tools ( MOZ, SE Ranking etc..), Google Analytics and Tag Manager
  • Good grammar skills
  • Excellent communication skills
